Native American Flute Fingering Chart - Anasazi Flutes

This page gives typical fingerings for the chromatic notes on six-hole Native American flutes that are tuned along the lines of the tuning used on the early Anasazi artifacts from the Broken Flute cave. Additional information on present-day replicas of these historic instruments is on The Anasazi Flute page of this web site.

Note that fingerings on Native American flutes vary from maker to maker (and often among different flutes from the same maker).

The entire set of fingering charts is available in one Native American Flute Fingerings PDF file. You can also click on the page images below to see a larger version of each page, which can be saved or printed directly.
